Hand-Carved Double Bass Rental

Traveling with an upright bass is challenging. We offer a unique collection of hand-carved double basses crafted by Transylvanian luthier Ioan Bucur, featuring superior quality, deep resonance, and a traditional “D” neck stop.

• Setup & Specifications: All double basses are equipped with an adjustable bridge (Moser pattern) and strung with Thomastik Spirocore Medium strings (string length: 104.5 cm).
• Live Sound & Pickups: High-quality pickups are included and professionally set for the best-sounding option for each specific instrument. Upon request, a Neumann MCM 114 microphone with a dedicated double bass mount is available.
• Bows: A German or French bow can be added upon request.
